2008 is coming

MiSa is really a great tear-jerker. A subtle sadness can be felt from each of the different scenes and no wonder it won the best picture award. An inspiration that tells me to frame subjects that tells a good story for both motion and still. It reminds me that someone said that you do not need a good camera to take a good picture.

" Take the first step in faith, You don't have to see the whole staircase, just take the first step." "The brave may not live forever but the cautious do not live at all." How true can that be.

Drop the word fear.

EXPOsure

Now working in Expo and there's a mega sale in Hall 5. Do visit this weekend and grab all the stuff early. Calvin Klein underwear and shirts sold for only 5 bucks. My favourite chocolate is damn cheap. I bet Expo will turn out to be a warzone tomorrow. The more I know about the secret, the more I wouldn't talk about negative things.

Customers are really cute, always pop some lame questions and laugh at their own jokes. Whenever I have breaks, I will spend some time watching Formula Drift with the bystanders. VOOM VOOM VOOM. Screeecchhh. At a distance, there only thick white fumes. Walk closer... even better, I can smell petrol. Frangrant. I was wondering when will the car fly into the crowd but the drivers are too good to even hit the cones.

Enliven

Hi people, I'm back from band camp. Happy christmas eve to all!

Camping is really fun. In camp, I got to know the juniors and they are really funny and entertaining people. Met up with other alumni friends too! Starting to love music and drumming even more.

Back home, I had a chicken and bacon tomato lettuce sandwich with mayo and played on drum later. Then I started to have diarrhea. Feeling weak, I fell asleep for 15 hours and when I woke up, it's a new day. Haha.

Will be disappearing for another 1 week. See you guys around.

Bye.

ETF & Asian Idol

Early turkey feast today. I'm totally in love with gravy on rice! Cheers people.

"Because she knows what she believes today can be different tomorrow."

Okay, who watched Asian Idol live in Jakarta, Indonesia on TV? Hady Mirza was kneeling on the floor. Not a single judge thinks that Vy and Hady stands out and most of them chose Mau, Jaclyn and Mike. In fact, I thought they are right. However, I musn't deny the fact that their looks do play a part in getting the votes. It turned out that Hady Mirza became an Asian Idol overnight. Unbelievable.

Probably, one of the reasons of the win might be that the voters from other countries thought that Singapore is small and wouldn't get that many votes. The system was to choose 2 idols from 2 different countries so they vote one for the own country and the other for Singapore. In the end, it turned out that everyone thinks the same way and Hady Mirza gets votes from it. Or Singaporeans really voted a million times. Or it could just be the charm and voice of his that drew votes.

Either of them, I'm looking forward to tomorrow's HEADLINES. Expect the Unexpected! I'm not really crazy about Hady Mirza but I'm glad he did it.

So far.

Friday 13 Not

Finally! After a super long day, I met up with Shimin and Liu Chin for Sheryl's water baptism. We got to choose gifts that Shimin bought for us.

Bei Bei, Jing Jing, Huan Huan, Ying Ying, Ni Ni

That's what I learnt about Olympics in China from Shimin; each of them symbolises something.

I chose the lao da, the fire torch that starts the game.

Back to water baptism, I think the best part was the refreshment. WOW. Congratulations to Sheryl and Sharon for being baptized. Both sprinkling and immersion are really fast. Hopefully.

I'm officially grounded and I'm gonna turn the house upside down.

ROAR!

NUS visit

The nurse keep making me laugh and have to repeat everything at least twice. WTH. The best thing was that I have to dilate my eyeballs once only. An open date appointment on the day when the rectina detach and floaters burst.

I select and picture which is bus coming.

I'll be blind not.

Heisenberg - Uncertainty Principle

Hey guys, I'm back again. Just here to update you on the SGR seminar by Dr. Mel Gill at the Suntec Conventional Hall that I'd attented. The three hours is worthwhile and life changing. He has a strong sense of humour which is indeed a special way of communication that brings people together and connect the hearts of all. It was the super lame joke he cracked that draws me to pay close attention to him. Talking about the laws of attraction! The seminar attracted a lot of middle age group people with the exception of a kid, a baby and myself.

I learnt a bit on quantum physics today, it was just a sneak preview and I can't wait for next year when we will be touching more of it in school! It is true that what we feel changes eveything and expectation does change reality. It also reflects on our society which is true that most of us lack self-esteem which is like a barrier as we have doubts with ourself. However, the past is not important and what matter most is that we have faith in ourself! I'd been in a hypnotic trance before and as he unravels the mystery of our brains, I started to realise what had happened to me since I was born. The events that took place that are so special. Success is really not always about money and a thought can change our emotions. I agree with him that everyone present in that room wasn't there by accident and I made friends much more older than me. "Ginger is still old then spicy" in chinese. Haha. They are much more mature and experienced and I really hope to make more of such friends! Sometimes being sociable is really easy because the people just make you want to talk.

Books I read told me to have paradigms and so did Dr. Mel Gill. What do I say about myself will be a window of how people see me. I am going to discover the secret of the universe and find my true destiny; my live catalog. How the world spins...

Thoughts are frequencies. On and off.

I NOT SO STUPID

I feel so stupid. I know the answer to my heart long long ago. I shouldn't even tell anyone what I was thinking. I had it all along! Never mind about all the pretenders in the world and move along without them.

That dream repeated again. The gross intestines plus a liver coming out from the throat of an angmoh woman pulled out by an angmoh man again and a picture of 1000 days book. The quote comes out for the third time - "If you fail to plan, you're planning to fail." Oh my, it's time to get my engine started.

Happy belated world AIDS day to everyone. Let's fight aids by using latex. Teehee. Spread the word of love to the people you cherish!

Smack and whack. Dummies.

Angels follow me

I'm still trying to complete season 1 of Heroes! My computer speakers really suck and I have to pause my show to let them take a break in between. The interview at Neythal road is absolutely weird. I wouldn't want that job and I don't wanna work for Ministry of Manpower. I was so late for my drumming lesson in Town Area and I had to ran miles to take the train. Sweating like a pig! While running, there was this taxi driver who horned me and told me to get into the car. I was like telling him no because I got no money on me but he said it didn't matter. So I did and made it for my drum lessons on time! WOW. He thought I was a Malaysian then I told him I was rushing down for my music lessons. He said that I must take good care of my fingers and stuff. LOL. Nearly burst into laughter but he is just really really nice. In studio, Mr Ant. recommended me to an electronic drum on the noticeboard and gave me pointers on how to 'Sha Jia' = Bargain, to make it sound nicer, negotiate. Anyway, I find the price very reasonable but I had to wait for mum's 'approval letter'. I wonder why my dreams always lie in people's hand like purchasing SLR camera and so on. It is always money, money, money. If I have all the money in the world, I wouldn't work. I will serve and volunteer.

In a paragraph.

Upsize 100

I've watched 100 films in my life today. Don't ask me why I count because I don't know. It was just that I started counting from one fine day, like the actress in Secret counting 108 steps to the classroom. The 100th film I'd watched is Secret. Don't ask me why after so many months then I watch it. I must say it's the first time I feel better that the story is left hanging there. It's a secret. Don't ask me why I'm acting secretive because I'm busy too. My stupid ceiling is like a fountain.

Splash, splash, splash.

The queer FREAK

This morning, my brother was playing with the candles and I joined in with a stack of newspaper. Then I threw it on another stack of newspapers and that was how the fire started. The living room was filled with ashes after that and we have to clean the whole living room.

In the afternoon, I met a scammer.

A total freak.

Please watch out for the scammer trying to cheat people on the internet and do not be easily deceived. Check for registered companies and legitimate assignments. It is really obvious to see the flaws in the statements and I was like so pissed. These people should be jailed but on the other hand, it reminds me to be canny. It was a waste of my time but I lucky enough to withdraw before the assignments even started. The thing is that my resume fall in the wrong hands. Darn. I now realised what that deam means and thanks to Yifang for hearing me out. It's really a reflection of how the world is like; intricate. I should start to think simple.

The third thing was even more upsetting. My mum disapprove me of spending my own savings on buying the Yamaha drumset. It is not spending things that will get me nowhere, it is about my dreams. There is like a huge mountain of difficulty in front of me right now and I really wish I need not have to worry. After shopping for my music book, had my favourite Takoyaki and drinking water chestnut drink, I felt better. Maybe I should stop thinking about working and concentrate on my revision and prepare for the 'A' levels.

It's so hard to say those words.

They shine

Yo people I'm back! I'm relieve and glad that the chinese paper and oral presentation are over. Whatever the results man! I guess I'll be working and if you want to date me, I would have to check my itinerary. Give me a ride! Haha. Anyway, I just finished watching Stardust and it was one of the best fantasy movies that I've watched so far! Two thumbs up yeah! Excellent graphics, compositions, storyline, humour and everything else. They live happily ever after... Yeah, yeah I mentioned it before, that is my all-time favourite ending! Go watch it people! Woohoo! I'm going for a haircut soon okay.

Control

I should really start to mind my language and stop my mouth in taking control of me. I should also start being proactive and not reactive towards what people say.

Here is a significant and unbalance picture which only Jennifer can catch the underlying meaning. Presenting to you, the bloated caps.

Curryly Hari Raya

Selamat Hari Raya to all Muslim friends and those who are involved in the celebration. Haha. Anyway, my super nice neighbours delivered the sweet and spicy food to our doorstep. How sweet of them!

Nice pastries.

Thick flavoured chicken, mutton and veggie.

Pregnant lontong. Haha.

Just in case my friends are wondering why I was like greeting them with Selemat Hari Raya repeatedly, I'm just too high in the festive season! (Though I got no green packets)

After that, I went down to HOGC and I really felt refresh when the river ran through me! Haha. I'm so glad that I really try to commit myself and I gained lots and lots from the few hours. It is still the same old words; how much you put in determines how much you will get in return. I'm a dead and different person again. Thanks to all friends who really made my day and Jun Jie for sharing many thoughts with me!

We are a new generation.

Light up the sky

Colours change everything. Even if the world is falling apart, colours just bring hope into life. It like a subliminal message to have faith. The journey has just begin and we should face each day with hope and enthusiasm. Even if the eye twitches, (Yes, yes mine is twitching right now) just tell yourself that things will turn out fine.

I should just stop worrying about retaining. "In every life we have some trouble, when you worry you make it double" - Bobby Mcferrin sings...

Next up, Chinese 'A' level.

Breakthrough.

Zone Sharing

Finally, the people are back from Sweden. Their hair turned brown and shared with us their stories at Sweden which are so fascinating! They even brought Sweden biscuits back. Sweet, taste like popcorn and is very crispy. It's my new home.

Taking the lonely ride back home, I bumped into Huijing and her boyfriend in the shelter and chatted a bit. Funny people. Haha. The world is indeed small, social circle just overlaps and gets bigger.

Finally, I had my dinner at home; sausage wrap.

Gotta study hard for Promos. The final lap! At least, for now.

Breakthrough.

Candles eaters

Met the girls at school to celebrate Mid-Autumn festival. It isn't worth the money. I ate plain bee hoon. Nevertheless, I enjoyed myself.

Smiley fist. The limelight was on the watch.

Bloody lanterns.

So we went ahead to light the lanterns. Eunice helped me to burn a "Halloween lantern". Then, jamming with the lantern sticks, dancing with the stars and sharing lame jokes.

Went to some place near school to play with fireworks. It is seriously smoky.

Took like so many shots to get a proper one. Block the lamp, all in postions, blinking and
SNAP.

Missed Ghost Whisperer.
Wanna play pool.

Punctual

It's the start of September holidays but there are holiday lectures. Maths and chemistry packed into one day and I sat in for 4 and a 1/2 hours of lecture. Even more than normal school days! Fortunately, I just have to go back to school once.

High school musical 2 is still stucked in my head. Look at my desktop's background. Haha. My favourite song in the last movie was Bop to the Top and now I like Fabulous. I don't know why but I love bitchy and Arghh songs. It's a universal definition.

I'm trying to design the cover page of my group's written report but I got no freaking idea how I should start. Speaking of project work, something embarrassing happened in the library today.

All the stalls in school are closed, so I went to the library with an empty stomach. Half way through, I stretched my body and then my stomach was growling so loudly that all my teammates heard it. Their reactions are hilarious. They ask me to go have my lunch but cateen stalls are closed and I'm too lazy to go outside to buy. So paiseh!! I think the very last person that heard my stomach growls is Eunice in lower secondary I think. Haha.

Pictures of the tasty mooncakes, much better than last year's.

The following is a masterpiece done by a ultra violent person with high destructive force. (not me) That's a really classic one. Hmm... there goes my guitar sessions. I seriously need a new one.

Tutorial 1: How to wash your laundy. (For Beginners)

Brought to you by: Following mum's instruction manual.

Step 1: Open the cover of your washing machine.

Step 2: Empty the dirty laundry into the washing machine.

Step 3: Pour in one cup of detergent.

Remember to make a nice pattern on the laundry.

Step 4: Close the cover and press the Start/Hold button.

Crap.
It's just a simple request.

A child in you

Went down for Daytona Challenge with Sheryl today. I was in the chart at first but get kicked out. Actually, I shouldn't even think about the Sony PSP. It's totally impossible for me to get. Haha. Anyway, I wonder who won.

I had my lunch at Subway and it was my first time trying! Noob noob. I simply love lettuce and tomatoes and just everything. Probably because I'm having a great appetite then.

My attempt to study failed yet again. My Aunt brought Swensen ice cream mooncake again as Mid-Autumn Festival is approaching soon, drumsticks kinda distracting, music playing, computer's charm and all. I finished High School Musical 2 and it's totally sweet and there more cool songs. Road to High School Musical 2 and auditions are cool as well. It's even better than the first one. Much more complications in storyline and it's going to show on 9th September on Disney channel too. I know Zuer is definitely watching it.

I must stress that not only kids watch Disney channels okay, some teenagers and adults love it too. Ryan Evans did a great job, so does the entire East High School. I even played the games at Disney website Hehe. Looking forward to High School Musical 3. Back to my sdsm, I'm not giving up my study rule.

Have you heard Sharpay and Ryan singing Humuhumunukunukuapua'a? Totally crappy! Haha.

Everyday reminds me of Hi-5.
No I don't watch it.

Say Hi

It's teachers' day today and it reminded me of baking day at Jennifer's house. I went back to Yuhua with the rest. Kinda of boring there and it's really quiet. Shimin said that the geography students are going to Nepal tomorrow. How I wish I can go overseas for a few years, to experience a different culture. Like France, Brazil and anywhere with annual events like Mardi Gras parade or Glastonbury with lots and lots of people from different parts of the world. That will be totally cool.

After that, we went to catch "Ratouille". It's been a long time since I watched Disney pictures. It is really a hilarious film.

Anyone can cook.
Enjoy life.

Screw down

It's another meaningful day at Singpost. I really like the inspiring testimonials, the service on academic excellence and the best part was that they played my favourite song. The message was delivered through permutation and combination. It's really a mathematical truth.

It really awaken me and stirred up what's deep inside of me. I remembered how curious I was about the Big Bang, Milky Way and all the positions of the stars and planets. Wondering if aliens and UFOs really existed, controversies going round the world, the way different instruments are played, laws in different part of the continents, music and video production, how animation works, different breed of dogs, languages and cultures, psychic power, the human brain, electronics, problem sums, hand signs and so much more.

"Learning ends when you die." It's going to be throughout my life. I'm glad that I'm cultivating a brand new way of life and I know that I'm not walking the road alone.

Gonna to come up with my own study rule and work doubly hard and not screw up my major examination again. My life is going to be 100! Don't be mistaken. It is simply 100 factorial.

Overflowing.
The brain however is of infinite capacity.

Wind it

For the past few days, I just feel like taking my Dad's first and old guitar to play my favourite instrumental song by Bob Dylan. That is really what I call classic. I think I did mention, how much I love Avril's version.

Tuning the guitar by ears and I was so afraid of breaking the strings again which I did a few years back and had a phobia of tuning guitar. (My Dad blew up) Okay, I was exaggerating.

Okay, I know it made seem to people that it is just a simple song with only 4 chords but it killed me. I've got a blister on my middle finger right now. I seriously strum like a moron. Maybe, I need half a year to do that song. Hmm... I still want to do Runaway. That will take another one year. Oh gosh...

Speaking about music, my new drum teacher is great. It all depends on me now.

Money, money, money.
Life is money...

Procrastinator T02-R25-S7

I'm back to share with you what happened last night that blown me away. She is Gwen Stefani! The Sweet Escape Tour Live in Singapore Indoor Stadium!

I'm really really shocked when some of my friends said "Gwen Stefani? Who is that?" I nearly fainted. Anyway, I'm really proud to attend her concert, I'm a huge fan! Woohoo! I took 105 shots at her concert and most of them were like so blur. I'm shaking with excitement!

My heart pounding madly back then.

Oh right, first stop; Security. No fluids allowed. Anyway, my sister and I entered with only one peanut pancake in our stomach. We were late for the concert but luckily, Gwen Stefani's concert started late too, so we didn't miss out anything.

Lights out and the crowd was cheering. Spotlight following her dancers.

Okay, her dancer was caught by the police. Yup, yup! That was the introduction to the Sweet Escape!

This photo was really blur but I like the colourful dresses of her dancers. They are grooving to Yummy!

The video taken by the Ricoh camera. It was blur partly because that it was of poor focus and the fact that we were quite far from the stage. I love the Cha-chinggg... Cha-chinggg...

The magnificent sea of people.

She's got the crowd going. Everyone went wild. Totally awesome!

What you waiting
What you waiting
What you waiting
What you waiting
What you waiting for!?

Seriously, I was screaming like a mad women. My sister and I stood up and dance during most of the songs. The Caucasians at the back were really wild too!

Everyone cheered so loudly when she dashed up to the central stage. She's getting closer and closer to my seat!

She shocked me when she dashed up the stairs! Even closer now! She was surrounded by security guards as well as the crowd. Oh man! When I took a clear shot, she turned away. By the way, she's in the center of the picture. Back to it, she was just three feets away and I stood on someone else's seat to get the shot! I should have shouted "Gwen! You're a hot mum!" Maybe she would have turned around and come closer and I could have got a better shot. Hmm...

Oh yeah, she was singing "Cool" and the crowd was like "I know we're cool!"

Anyway, she ran to the east and I got another shot.

There she was and the crowd was armed with cameras. Spotlight was following her and it made it easier for us to take her pictures! Supposedly, no photography is allowed in the stadium but no one really cared.

The concert goes on when she sang her songs in Love.Angel.Music.Baby and The Sweet Escape. There was encore and she introduced her band and dancers to us. I was so high!

Okay. Her crew. Gwen Stefani is really sincere and appreciative which no doubt is the reason that brought her really far. She even dedicate her song to cute little Kingston! What a nice nice mum! I love her!

The end. There were Gwen Stefani T-shirts and posters on sale outside the stadium and there was a huge jam. The concert kept replaying in my head because it was just so memorable, so unforgettable.

It was just so amazing that people all around the world are connected together through music. The music of our souls. She came from California and her crew from different parts of the world such as Japan. It was just so much for the night and I was really reluctant to leave. The concert was much so much more than words, an undescribable event.

I nearly doze off during lectures today and two friends and I still need to go down to Singapore Polytechnic to take pictures of the West Zone Superstar rehearsal. I was really really tired. It was fun though.

Fun, fun people.
Fun, fun life.

Procrastinating yet again but thanks for everything.
My life is cool.

More fun

Went Distubia-ing with Sheryl and Shimin. Oh my god, I got the showtime for Lido Cineplex instead of Jurong. In the end, we had to spend some time in the arcade. It was so much fun though.

We went for dinner then into the theater. It wasn't as scary as I heard but it is still quite scary. Okay, there were great observations of the neighbourhood and Kale got a cool bedroom. After the movie, we went for another round of arcade games and went home.

Grand opening at Singpost. It was impressive but it sets me in a dilemma. I hope things will turn out fine for me. I wonder why there are so many problems in my life.

I really have no idea.

Memorable Holidays

I finished watching the complete korean drama, The Vineyard Man plus the duet done by them on Youtube. The drama is damn hilarious plus meaningful. Since I am so free this few days, I decided to watch the DVDs at home, the shows I didn't catch in cinemas.

Another great comedy by Jack Neo.

Artificial women. It's a touching one.

In the evening, I had more fun together with my family and relatives at Marina Bay for steamboat. Food and more food. Actually, it was mainly meat but I had some vegetables and tofu to keep me healthy. Oh yeah, I met Felicia and Jacqueline there too.

Uncooked.

Cooking.

Cooked.

Take a second to look around. Enjoy the lovely Thursday.

There we had one round of bowling. Woo! Everyone was like so professional but it was tyco la. We cheer and scream like some lunatics. It was so much fun. Then I notice that we attracted quite a lot of attention from the crowd.

My cousin. Steady man.

We took so many balls. I think eight playing.

Buzzing.

On the way home, there were so many strangers that attempted to get a free ride from us because Uncle was driving a mini bus with a few empty seats. We rejected because not shun lu. There were so many people that the bus stop can't hold them. Some were standing at the grasspatch and some on the curb and they are really really desperate to get home.

There were 6 cars that crashed together and form a straight car chain at the highway which caused a serious traffic jam! Then, we were like taking note of all the car plate numbers so that the adults can buy 4D. Hmm... Then, the rest cracked some lame jokes and we guess some hokkien riddles. The people are seriously jokers.

Went home and eat more. Huge appetite.

Aunt brought some sushi.

Still learning to read hangul to sing that song.
Happy 42th Birthday Singapore!
