2008 is coming

MiSa is really a great tear-jerker. A subtle sadness can be felt from each of the different scenes and no wonder it won the best picture award. An inspiration that tells me to frame subjects that tells a good story for both motion and still. It reminds me that someone said that you do not need a good camera to take a good picture.

" Take the first step in faith, You don't have to see the whole staircase, just take the first step." "The brave may not live forever but the cautious do not live at all." How true can that be.

Drop the word fear.

EXPOsure

Now working in Expo and there's a mega sale in Hall 5. Do visit this weekend and grab all the stuff early. Calvin Klein underwear and shirts sold for only 5 bucks. My favourite chocolate is damn cheap. I bet Expo will turn out to be a warzone tomorrow. The more I know about the secret, the more I wouldn't talk about negative things.

Customers are really cute, always pop some lame questions and laugh at their own jokes. Whenever I have breaks, I will spend some time watching Formula Drift with the bystanders. VOOM VOOM VOOM. Screeecchhh. At a distance, there only thick white fumes. Walk closer... even better, I can smell petrol. Frangrant. I was wondering when will the car fly into the crowd but the drivers are too good to even hit the cones.

Enliven

Hi people, I'm back from band camp. Happy christmas eve to all!

Camping is really fun. In camp, I got to know the juniors and they are really funny and entertaining people. Met up with other alumni friends too! Starting to love music and drumming even more.

Back home, I had a chicken and bacon tomato lettuce sandwich with mayo and played on drum later. Then I started to have diarrhea. Feeling weak, I fell asleep for 15 hours and when I woke up, it's a new day. Haha.

Will be disappearing for another 1 week. See you guys around.

Bye.

ETF & Asian Idol

Early turkey feast today. I'm totally in love with gravy on rice! Cheers people.

"Because she knows what she believes today can be different tomorrow."

Okay, who watched Asian Idol live in Jakarta, Indonesia on TV? Hady Mirza was kneeling on the floor. Not a single judge thinks that Vy and Hady stands out and most of them chose Mau, Jaclyn and Mike. In fact, I thought they are right. However, I musn't deny the fact that their looks do play a part in getting the votes. It turned out that Hady Mirza became an Asian Idol overnight. Unbelievable.

Probably, one of the reasons of the win might be that the voters from other countries thought that Singapore is small and wouldn't get that many votes. The system was to choose 2 idols from 2 different countries so they vote one for the own country and the other for Singapore. In the end, it turned out that everyone thinks the same way and Hady Mirza gets votes from it. Or Singaporeans really voted a million times. Or it could just be the charm and voice of his that drew votes.

Either of them, I'm looking forward to tomorrow's HEADLINES. Expect the Unexpected! I'm not really crazy about Hady Mirza but I'm glad he did it.

So far.

Friday 13 Not

Finally! After a super long day, I met up with Shimin and Liu Chin for Sheryl's water baptism. We got to choose gifts that Shimin bought for us.

Bei Bei, Jing Jing, Huan Huan, Ying Ying, Ni Ni

That's what I learnt about Olympics in China from Shimin; each of them symbolises something.

I chose the lao da, the fire torch that starts the game.

Back to water baptism, I think the best part was the refreshment. WOW. Congratulations to Sheryl and Sharon for being baptized. Both sprinkling and immersion are really fast. Hopefully.

I'm officially grounded and I'm gonna turn the house upside down.

ROAR!

NUS visit

The nurse keep making me laugh and have to repeat everything at least twice. WTH. The best thing was that I have to dilate my eyeballs once only. An open date appointment on the day when the rectina detach and floaters burst.

I select and picture which is bus coming.

I'll be blind not.

Heisenberg - Uncertainty Principle

Hey guys, I'm back again. Just here to update you on the SGR seminar by Dr. Mel Gill at the Suntec Conventional Hall that I'd attented. The three hours is worthwhile and life changing. He has a strong sense of humour which is indeed a special way of communication that brings people together and connect the hearts of all. It was the super lame joke he cracked that draws me to pay close attention to him. Talking about the laws of attraction! The seminar attracted a lot of middle age group people with the exception of a kid, a baby and myself.

I learnt a bit on quantum physics today, it was just a sneak preview and I can't wait for next year when we will be touching more of it in school! It is true that what we feel changes eveything and expectation does change reality. It also reflects on our society which is true that most of us lack self-esteem which is like a barrier as we have doubts with ourself. However, the past is not important and what matter most is that we have faith in ourself! I'd been in a hypnotic trance before and as he unravels the mystery of our brains, I started to realise what had happened to me since I was born. The events that took place that are so special. Success is really not always about money and a thought can change our emotions. I agree with him that everyone present in that room wasn't there by accident and I made friends much more older than me. "Ginger is still old then spicy" in chinese. Haha. They are much more mature and experienced and I really hope to make more of such friends! Sometimes being sociable is really easy because the people just make you want to talk.

Books I read told me to have paradigms and so did Dr. Mel Gill. What do I say about myself will be a window of how people see me. I am going to discover the secret of the universe and find my true destiny; my live catalog. How the world spins...

Thoughts are frequencies. On and off.

I NOT SO STUPID

I feel so stupid. I know the answer to my heart long long ago. I shouldn't even tell anyone what I was thinking. I had it all along! Never mind about all the pretenders in the world and move along without them.

That dream repeated again. The gross intestines plus a liver coming out from the throat of an angmoh woman pulled out by an angmoh man again and a picture of 1000 days book. The quote comes out for the third time - "If you fail to plan, you're planning to fail." Oh my, it's time to get my engine started.

Happy belated world AIDS day to everyone. Let's fight aids by using latex. Teehee. Spread the word of love to the people you cherish!

Smack and whack. Dummies.
