Boring Boring

Life is so damn boring right now. Harmonica is like everything. I can't believe that there is a middle road where Boon Sing Building is located. It's like so noisy but I got what she tried to say. Awesome hearing. Wahaha. I don't think anyone would understand unless they know the streets of Singapore well enough.

I really wanna watch Drumline during the camp but they wanted to watch the horror movie. After watching Fragile, I dare not wake up so early anymore. They can't see me walking around when sun has yet to rise. Anyway, I caught Drumline on Youtube. I don't know why but it is still available despite copyright issues. I guess they don't care about old films. So, I got a chance to watch it. It really cool.

I realised that I'm really impatient, when things go wrong everytime and when people don't try hard enough. I guess I need some time to cool and improve on that. I believe that everything is possible. (provided that we put in 100 percent effort) Don't even say you can't do it when didn't even try.

Try.
Try Harder.
Try even Harder.

Especially MB. You still rock my socks.

Shopping

I went out with Shu Jun and gang to buy my favourite thing - Drumsticks! I was late and it was raining. I bought my fifth pair of sticks at Yamaha which cost me 17 bucks . It's the Vater Rikki Rockett Bottle Rockett Drumsticks. Wow, what a long name.

The design looks like this.

And the tip...

I remember the first pair of sticks is the chopsticks. I played it in front my mum and she scolded me for behaving like a beggar. The second pair is my stationery. Next, it was the pinkish 'Chingay' sticks that it was in the bags. Then, it was the drumsticks in the harmonica room which does not belong to me. Vater is my first, "real" pair of sticks whick is rightfully mine. Wahaha.

Macdonalds is nice. We took neoprint together at Bugis and the whole trip was really enjoyable. They are really really funny people.

Drumming rocks.

Back From The Camp

The 4N5D camp is really great. Many were surprised that I actually went for the camp. It is worthwhile and I got to know more of my juniors as well as learn drumming from Shu Jun. I learnt something like hamburger (?) and some other different techniques on sticks.

The camp had broken a couple of records. The most movies watched during a camp, the most delicious food I had in camp, the longest session of harmonica practice... Kinda sick right now and I missed GW again. Shit.

I feel so itchy right now. There's 5 mosquito bites on my left hand, 2 on my right. 4 on my right leg as well.

YHHB terror

My first harmonica practice after 'O's and it's like so shoik. I couldn't even play it well and I felt like a newbie. Anyway, there's this guy sitting beside me called Daniel I think. He and Hui Ying tried to help me and I managed to play some lil' parts. My skills are really rusty. Imaging not touching the instrument for months... Somehow, I lost the ability of catching up like I did in the past when I pon harmonica.

I think after studying for like so many weeks, my brain burnt. I'll try harder. Haha.

Yesterday, I was tuning in to the 98.7 fm because of Tata Young. I don't know why but I really love to hear her crap with the DJs. Most importantly, Daniel Ong is hosting the countdown and he's such a funny guy. (my favourite DJ)

Daniel: It's been 3 long years and you blossom... and congratulations on your career.
Tata: Thank you. I don't look any older right?
Daniel: Yeah. How did you manage to stay so young all the time?
Tata: Because of my last name?
Daniel: Right. Interesting.

I decided to enrol in some music school for drumming after the concert. It's been like years now and I wanna learn it!

Dial 4 jamming session tomorrow. Rock on!

First Movie After 'O's

My first movie after the papers that drained all my energy. I wanted to watch "Step up" since the start of the papers and there's like so many trailers on it. Finally I got to watch it today with XT and Deb.

It is really an inspiring movie for all the dancers out there. It matched with the content I wrote in the english papers, the question "Dreams" There's so much for me to say on this particular topic.

Channing Tatum and Jenna Dewan can really dance well! There's one guy, Miles, doing mixing in the movie and I found him so familiar. That nose, I remembered that I had seen it somewhere. Ahhh! It's Mario, I saw him dancing before... Don't mean to be rude but it's really the nose that leave a deep impression. Hmm, I conclude that when something bad comes your way, something good is going to happen next.

What's up with graduating thingy huh? I think it's a really wonderful stage of life. Ha.

Every second chance begins with a first step.
Step up

All over

I completed secondary school.

The moment the whole class cheered when the invigilator said " You may go now", I'm really glad that it's all over. For the past few weeks, life was hell. Mountain of books, notes and everything... It nearly killed me.

Now that the heavy burden is off me, I have more plans coming my way. I really love this feeling of freedom. Nothing seemed to matter until the day where results is released. Chey, it's not that bad actually. I gave my best.

No regrets.
